  1. The 2008 Chapter Challenge will begin March 1, 2007 and will end on December 31, 2008. Tokens must be turned in by the 1st Chapter meeting in 2009.
  2. The 2007 Chapter Challenge will award “HOG Bucks” for each category. HOG Bucks can be exchanged as per the redemption schedule below.
  3. HOG Bucks will be distributed at the time of the event, with the exception of Newsletter/Website articles and MD/DE/HOG National Rallies. These will be awarded only at chapter meetings.
  4. HOG Bucks are good for the year issued only. Unused HOG Bucks must be turned in at the end of the year – these cannot be carried over into the next year’s redemption period.
  5. Once HOG Bucks are distributed to the member, the member is responsible for them. Lost HOG Bucks will not be replaced.
  6. The Chapter Challenge is open to all members in good standing with Nation HOG and the Frederick, MD Chapter, Harley Owners Group. Members wll be ineligible for the Chapter Challenge if they do not maintain membership at both the National and Local Chapter level.
  7. Registration for the Chapter Challenge is not required. New members will be automatically added when they join the Chapter.
  8. An official Chapter ride will be a ride that is predetermined by the Officers as an "Official Chapter Ride" prior to the date of the ride and will be published in the Chapter’s newsletter, on the Chapter’s website, or announced at a chapter meeting. Please note that all chapter rides must be submitted to the Officer’s by no later than 3 PM on the day of the Officer’s Meeting (the Tuesday prior to the Chapter Meeting).
  9. Organizing a chapter ride does not mean that you have to lead the ride. Additional awards will not be made to the ride leader, only the member who organized or planned the ride. “Organizing a Chapter Ride” awards are not made for chapter rides to Rolling Thunder, MDA Ride for Life, or York Open House.
  10. Attendance at a Chapter Ride is for motorcycles only. Those accompanying in cars, trucks, ect. will not be considered part of the ride and thus will not receive a HOG Buck
  11. If a ride or event qualifies for more than one category, you will receive the award for all. (For instance, helping at the MD/DE State Rally will reward you with $10; $5 for attending and $5 for helping.)
  12. Awards for attending a rally will only be made for the MD/DE State Rally and the HOG National Rally. To receive credit for attending these rallies, you will be required to provide your rally wristband as proof of attendance to the Activities Officer at a Chapter meeting.
    NOTE: All Chapter Rides must have a Road Captain in attendance.

Redemption Schedule

HOG Bucks may be redeemed only at Chapter Meetings. Members may redeem HOG Bucks in increments of $25. (i.e. 25 HOG Bucks (five tokens) will equal a $25 Gift Card)

Gift Cards are good only at the Harley-Davidson of Frederick and Harley-Davidson of Williamsport stores.

Giift Cards take time to prepare. Chapter Officers will try to anticipate the need - however, members may need to "cash in" their HOG Bucks at one meeting and receive their Gift Card at the next meeting.
